In the spirit of Kitchen Confidential, but with a great deal more dimension, Lee's book is as well written as it is engaging. Full of fascinating tidbits from around the world - I wanted to devour it in one sitting!

As charming and elegant as the woman herself, "The Tenth Muse" delivers a grand dose of life and love while describing a world just learning to appreciate fine cuisine. She has seen it all from the wild and wonderful world of Paris to the mountains of Vermont.
